InterGlobe Hotels believes in promoting art and emerging artists from India. We support them by providing a platform to showcase their talent and creativity. Our vision is to create a community that celebrates art in all its forms and to nurture a generation of new age artists.
The initiative began in 2023 with the opening of ibis Thane, the first ibis hotel in India to feature specially curated art. The hotel showcases the work of six artists in a variety of mediums, such as wallpapers, original paintings, city-themed photographs, etc., all of which reflect a local theme and style. Going forward, we will implement this in all our upcoming hotels.
Through this initiative, InterGlobe Hotels will acquire the works of artists and exhibit them in its hotels to support and promote the country’s wealth of artistic talent. The aim is also to raise awareness of India’s thriving art scene among hotel guests and patrons and contribute meaningfully to the cultural landscape.
